- Below are options for Puerto Vallarta & Cancun.
- Both options include 5 nights All-Inclusive Accommodations & Private Roundtrip Airport Transfers.
- Because availability is pretty limited, I am looking at dates ranging from June 13-25, 2023. Depending on the resort you want will determine the dates & final rates. Also, since the airfare is not included, I tried to keep your budget with what I was seeing as packages. However, I did notice that Delta flights were coming out a bit more then other airlines. So your totals may vary depending on the flights you end up getting.
- The rates are based on 2 adults & 3 children so in some cases, there may be children discounts (depending on age) but to make this easier, I just took the totals & divided by 5 so all rates are per person.

- I have a few options for you in this area but it definitely depends on the dates as the availability is very limited.
- Here's a summary of your options:
- All have good beaches.
- Hard Rock Vallarta & Marival are closer to the airport & to town.
- Hard Rock looks like availability does not encompass a weekend day.
- Marival Distinct has access to its sister resort Marival Emotions. It is not exactly on the beach but has easy access.
- Iberostar is another good option but a little farther out. About 1hr from airport but closer to Sayulita if that was something you guys would be interested in.

- Not sure if you guys were interested in Excursions but there are so many. There are the usual with the ziplines, ATV's, etc. and so much more so if you decide in this area let me know if there is anything specific you would like to do, but here are some options:
- rates are per person based on 5 people
- Cancun is definitely a resort destination with tons of all-inclusives to choose from & it is also known to have beautiful beaches.
- However, 2 things:
- 1) we are looking at summer peak season & it's coming up soon so much of my recommended is not available
- 2) if they are available, they are way over budget because we are only 2 months out.
- Also, I'm not sure if you know about Sargassum. It's pretty much a type of seaweed that can coat the beaches making them unusable & usually happens in the warmer months. Much like weather & mother nature in general, it really is something that cannot be predicted & can change day to day. But I know one of your wants was a nice swimmable beach so I am giving you options in the Northern area where there is a better chance of not being affected by this which also limits our choices. I just wanted to make sure you are aware because it is something that is highly possible for Quintana Roo during the time you are planning to go. With that said, resorts definitely try to clean up the beaches when it's manageable.
- Here's a summary of your options:
- Both are in the area least affected by Sargassum.
- Catalonia is a little bit further north so not as close to downtown Cancun.
- Dreams Vista is a little bit closer but still not walking distance.
- Both have beautiful Beaches but Dreams is a bit small & it is right next to the ferry port to Isla Mujeres.
- For Catalonia I am quoting the Privileged category which is like the "Club" Level because it will give you priority for Restaurant reservations & access to extra.

- Again, not sure if you are interested in any excursions if you choose this area but if you do, this is the excursion that is usually on everyone's list when visiting Cancun. I included as it's the main Park that most like to visit; however, we can always change it of course. This area has many ruins, cenotes, Islands like Isla Mujeres to explore so there are definitely many options. Just to give you an idea, this is $198.00pp

Underground Rivers
Swim through a maze of caves and tunnels, lit by natural light from air vents.
Here are three underground rivers in Xcaret to choose from: the Blue River, the Mayan River, and the Manatee River. The three of them flow into the sea, next to mangroves inhabited by pink flamingos.
The rivers of Xcaret flow about 16.4 ft below the ground.
They have an extension of 656 yards approximately and an average depth of 5 ft.
You will find intermediate exits, in case you want to finish your tour before the end.
The use of a life jacket is mandatory, it allows you to float comfortably throughout the course.
Aviary
Enter a sanctuary of colorful plumages and paradisiacal songs. Contemplate the beauty of the scarlet and great green macaws, the toucan with its colorful beak, and the imposing king vulture.
The Aviary is the result of many years of research. Natural habitats were created to allow the development of more than 1,500 Mexican birds, some of them in danger of extinction.
“Bridge to Paradise” Mexican Cemetery
This spiral cemetery has seven levels that symbolize the days of the week, and 52 steps, which represent the weeks in a year, while its 365 tombs are a representation of the days of the year. Discover the personality of each tomb by its tonalities, adornments, and singular epitaphs.
It is a valuable place of Mexican culture and its relationship with the Day of the Dead tradition.
Coral Reef Aquarium
Admire beautiful coral specimens at Xcaret’s Coral Reef Aquarium, in special ponds with windows that allow you to see underwater. See more than 5,000 marine organisms, among which you can see jellyfish, snails, goldfish, rays, and starfish.
